Becoming a member of the Capitol Circle means taking pride in supporting your local arts community and commitment to the well-being of the Capitol Theatre. A community event dedicated to raising awareness, providing support, and empowering individuals and families affected by breast cancer. Join us for an inspiring evening of powerful personal stories, expert insights, and community connection as we raise awareness and funds for breast health care. Hear firsthand from local individuals who have experienced breast cancer: from the uncertainty of diagnosis and treatment to the resilience of survivorship. Their stories will be complemented by healthcare and wellness professionals who will share information about breast health services, resources, and supports available throughout every stage of the breast cancer journey. This special event is a fundraiser benefiting both Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) Foundation and the Survivor Thrivers dragon boating team. Proceeds will help modernize the breast health program at NHH by supporting investments in a new 3D mammography unit, wire-free breast tissue localization technology, a bone mineral density scanner, and an ultrasound machine. Funds will also help the Survivor Thrivers purchase a new boat for their team of local individuals living with a breast cancer diagnosis. By attending, you'll help raise awareness, strengthen local breast cancer care, and support those whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. The Capitol Theatre welcomes individuals with disabilities to attend performances and other events at our facility.
