About this event

Becoming a member of the Capitol Circle means taking pride in supporting your local arts community and commitment to the well-being of the Capitol Theatre. Join us for a FREE concert to celebrate the snowbird lifestyle, with performances by singer-songwriter Carolyn Dawn Johnson, comedian Bruce McCullough, and fiddler Ashley MacIsaac! This event includes a special presentation by Canadian Snowbird Association President Garry McDonald, who will talk about what you need to know when travelling outside Canada. Sponsored by Medipac Travel Insurance and The Canadian Snowbird Association. The Capitol Theatre welcomes individuals with disabilities to attend performances and other events at our facility. We are committed to providing accessible services in a manner that maintains the dignity and independence of all while providing equality of access and integration. The Capitol Theatre wishes to acknowledge the original caretakers of this land: the Wendake-Nionwentsio, the Mississauga, the Anishinabewaki, and many other nations–recorded and unrecorded. This theatre has a long history, but there is a much longer history in this region and we can all do a better job of recognizing that history. Open one hour prior to all live performances. Closed on statutory holidays.
