Until now, entry to the show has been free, with optional donations collected at the door in support of Primrose Donkey Sanctuary. Thanks to your generosity, we have raised just over $4,000 over the past two years, which is something we are truly proud of! As the show has continued to grow, we have noticed that during peak and busy times, optional donations are often missed at the door. To ensure we can continue to support a cause that means so much to us, we will now be introducing a $2 admission fee. Our hope is that this change will allow us to match or exceed that same fundraising total in our third year. Primrose Donkey Sanctuary provides care, rehabilitation, and lifelong refuge for rescued, neglected, abandoned, and abused donkeys, mules, and horses. This cause is incredibly close to our hearts. We have personally taken on & adopted 10 donkeys from Primrose and have seen firsthand the impact this sanctuary has on animals in need. This small change allows us to show our gratitude and appreciation by supporting such an important organization in a more meaningful and consistent way, while continuing to grow the Northumberland Vintage Show as a community focused event.
