Rising Above 2 year Anniversary Celebration and Fundraiser

Rising Above Ministry Peterborough is celebrating two years of community service, marking a major milestone of hope, healing, and restoration for local individuals working to break cycles of defeat. Since opening its doors, the ministry has provided a safe, supportive, Christian-based residential recovery program for individuals facing addiction, trauma, homelessness, and other barriers to stability. Along with celebrating two years in operation, Rising Above is honoring 15 program graduates to date - men and women who have taken courageous steps toward lasting freedom and renewed purpose. The ministry’s six-month residential program is built on a holistic H.E.L.P.S. model \(Housing, Employment Readiness, Life Skills, Personal Development, and Spiritual Formation\). By addressing both destructive behaviors and the underlying trauma that fuels them, participants are equipped with the tools to become self-sufficient, contributing members of society. This celebration is our opportunity to pause, give thanks, share stories, and look ahead with hope. Come on out, buy a hotdog and chat with some of our program graduates, current program participants and staff.
