Participants will learn the balance, steering and paddling fundamentals of canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. While this program is self-directed in choosing the boat you would like to paddle, our staff will give instructions on boat... Participants will learn the balance, steering and paddling fundamentals of canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. While this program is self-directed in choosing the boat you would like to paddle, our staff will give instructions on boat handling skills and paddling techniques. Lifejackets (PFD’s) are worn by all participants while on the water. If possible, please provide your own PFD. Program DetailsAges: 14+ as an individual and family (any age)Cost: $60 per person / $140 family (same household) for 8 sessionsTime: 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.Location: West End Marina Parking Lot (100 Hibernia St, Cobourg, ON K9A 3J8)Days: Tuesdays (July and August) Participants will select the boats they wish to use. Instruction and safety protocols will be discussed prior to going out on the water.
