Get ready to move and groove this summer - The Concerts in the Park series returns in June!  Brought to you by the Brighton Community Events Committee, it's time to enjoy live music under the open sky! Join us for live music by Four Lanes Wide! Wednesday, July 8, 2026 @ 6:30 p.m. in Memorial Park --- About Four Lanes Wide: Four Lanes Wide is a classic rock band that has been together for well over a decade, playing at all kinds of venues from Belleville to Toronto. Alex Marris, local performer in Peterborough, has played with various groups including Afterthought, The Highs n' Lowes, Water's Edge and most recently, Four Lanes Wide. Alex is an active teacher and has been involved with several school musicals over the past decade.  Tim Lee, a retired senior correctional officer, has been playing bass in the Peterborough area for over 40 years. His longest running gig has been with Montana Sky, a local award-winning country act. Terry Babcock retired WWC Infrastructure maintenance Manager, received his first drum kit at age five and played alto and tenor saxophone in jazz bands back in the day, but now is the beat behind FLW. Greg Tummon, a retired high school teacher has had a love/hate relationship with music all his life. Forced by his parents to study classical music, he studied piano at the Royal Academy of Music, but quit when he was allowed. Later in life, he began to play Rock music with various groups around Peterborough and has directed five high school musicals. -- The Concerts in the Park series takes place every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., from June 3 through August 26. In case of weather cancellation, rain days will be held on the following night - Thursdays @ 6:30 p.m. Please follow our social media and website for event updates!
