Al-Anon Is a peer support group for adults who share their experience, strength and hope applying the Al-Anon principles to the effects related to a problem drinker. It is not therapy and is not led by counselor however, this support network does complement professional treatment.   No Advance notification or written referral is necessary to attend and now and on royalty meeting. Anyone affected by someone else's drinking is welcome. There are no dues or fees. Groups are self-supporting through voluntary contributions by its members. Anonymity is an important principle of these programs.  The degree of anonymity a member chooses \(First game, psuedonym, full name\) Is entirely up to you.  However, everything that is said in our meetings and member to member, must be held in confidence. We encourage you to try our program. We believe alcoholism is a family disease and that the family situation is bound to improve as the Al-Anon/Alateen ideas are applied and problems lose their power to dominate our thoughts and lives.
